About
Mykonos is synonymous with beaches and parties. At Paradise Beach, you can get your fill of both. During the day, you can chill by the beach or spend time on water activities such as banana boat rides and jet ski jaunts. Several scuba diving excursions and beach-hopping tours also set off from here. Come late afternoon, the buzzing party atmosphere kicks in as bars and clubs welcome party lovers until sunrise. If you plan to come by car, it’s about a 20-minute drive from Mykonos town. For a unique experience, ride a water taxi from Platis Gialos beach to get here. – Tripadvisor

    Disapointing "paradise"
A party noisy beach that is expensive and artificial. The water is ok, the sand too coarse, the beach clubs are not nice and leave almost no space for free beach. Stayed at a so called resort and it was a prefabricated hut, in a kind of refugee camp. Disappointed.

"Paradise" in the true sense of the word
Really beautiful beach, crystal clear water and excellent structure management. Cost € 50 for two sunbeds and umbrella absolutely average with Mykonos prices considering also the services offered (bar, restaurant, self service, shops). From late afternoon music begins with the possibility to have fun dancing in the dedicated area or stay on the beach to enjoy the sea without problems. For us one of the best alternatives on the island, excellent compromise between fun and relaxation. Highly recommended

Full with sun lounges and maybe only party people will be happy
Just a beach which isn’t more beautiful as the beaches nearby. BUT the whole beach is almost completely full with umbrellas and sun lounges. It’s tricky to go due to the sun lounges are so close together and the first row touches almost the see! It is done that no one can put his or her towel just before the sun lounges. Maybe party people will think this is a cool beach, but if you like more the nature and want to have more space other very close beaches in the east are much better. We were at the beach only a short time and drove with our scooter only a few minutes to the next beach.

    Beautiful beach with different prices
Beautiful beach with various providers of sun loungers with parasol. It is worth comparing the providers in terms of prices. The first provider wanted 60€ for the sun loungers with umbrella for the rear rows, but in addition a consumption constraint of 20€ per person would have been added. The front rows would have cost even more. The second provider charged 50€ for two sunbeds with umbrella - no matter what row. There was also no need for consumption. Big plus this beach - it has a shower! Conclusion: it is worth comparing the providers and asking for the prices.

    Relaxing on Paradise Beach
Spent the day at the lovely Paradise Beach in Mykonos. We rented sunbeds and umbrellas for the day from the Tropicana Resort nearby for 70 Euro for 2 beds and 1 umbrella. In doing so, we were able to use their bar and restaurant service. Drinks were tasty, and the food was delish. We'd highly recommend!

    To try
Beautiful beach, until 16 is a quiet place to swim and relax on your sunbed (and with very few people). From 4pm onwards it comes alive and the party begins. Music, guys, cocktails. All very pleasant, and a must try if you come to Mykonos

Busy beach with lots of bars
This is a busy beach with lots of bars. It's lively and busy all day and night. We expected it to be a bit bigger and more of a super club, but it just seemed like lots of bars with a dancefloor. We were there during the day, so might be a bit more super club style at night.

    Relaxation time
If you don't like decibels, go your way. Trendy place for young people and to see at least once for older ones. We had a nice time even though the music is loud (that's the goal). The "show" is there also before your eyes. To be done at least once at night and once a day in the late afternoon. To also book deckchairs, nice beach if you want to enjoy the music at the same time.

    It has it All
Well i thought we would have to pay to get in but no its free, not only that it is managed. Is only two euros on the bus to get too, the cocktails are amazing and 14 euros for two (the cheapest and best on the island) Has an array of good food at very reasonable prices Beds are 30euros for the day but you can sit on a towel if you wish Safe swimming clean beach Great music then at 4pm gets louder and the club beach comes alive you will be foot tapping dancing on the beach it is great i would recommend this to anyone (im 64) but its my fav beach ever.

Reading some of the bad reviews here, it would seem that people did not manage their expectations. The beach is great if you know what to expect and if it's your thing.

The beach seems to be managed by two hotels: Paradise Beach Resort and Tropicana. Tropicana takes up the Eastern side and Paradise Beach Resort the Western side. Each hotel has several bars and restaurants and loads of beach chairs. Their is also a club/dancefloor at either end of the beach.

The beach is free to access and a 2 euro bus journey from Mykonos town. Although I stayed at Paradise Beach Resort. Paradise Beach Resort has accommodation for all budgets. On my first trip, when I was still young and backpacking, I stayed in a cheap beach cabin, which has hostel prices. On this trip, now that I'm older, I stayed in the Deluxe twin with seaview.

Tropicana is a more upscale hotel. Their bars and restaurants also tend to be slightly more expensive. However, anybody can access all the beach facilities, whether your a day tripper or a guest of the hotels.

You have to pay to use the beach chairs, but this is standard for all Mykonos beaches, and they can be pricey. During peak summer months it gets really overcrowded, but if you're young and love the beach party vibe, this is probably what you are looking for. I prefer to come either side of peak season, when there are enough people for a good atmosphere, but I can still find space to breathe.

The party vibe starts at about 16:00 and continues way into the early hours of the night. If you are staying locally, be prepared to literally have your bed rocked by the thumping bass.

The beach itself is made up of course sand, which for me is nice because it does not blow around in the wind and doesn't stick to your skin. The beach is covered in beach chairs, with only a few, tiny open spots if you don't want to use a beach chair. The water is a wonderful, clear turquoise. There are a few, isolated rocky bits to be mindful of once you are in the water, but again, this is standard for Mykonos.

Paradise Beach has a big reputation as a party beach but during the day, it’s just a beautiful beach with a long curved stretch of sand, crystal clear water and gently lapping waves.
It has a lively, fun atmosphere bit wasn’t raucous or unpleasantly noisy.
It’s very crowded and the sunbeds dominate the beach so that there's very little free space. Sunbeds stretch right down to almost the water’s edge and there is only the smallest wedge of free space left beside the rocks on the right hand side of the beach.
Sunbeds were €30 for a pair which seemed pretty reasonable but it was a bit too congested for us so we decided to continue on to Paraga Beach instead, which is only a short 10-15 minute walk over the headland.
The path to Paraga starts with a set of stairs at the far right end of the beach (as you look at the water). Even if you’re staying at Paradise for the day, it’s worth walking up the stairs because they also lead to a beautiful viewing point, where you can look right down the length of the Paradise.
GETTING TO PARADISE BY BUS: It was incredibly easy to get to Paradise Beach by bus from Mykonos town. We caught the bus from Fabrika Square in Mykonos’ old town. It is pretty chaotic here but the buses have a sign listing all of their stops in the front windscreen. Once we realised that, it was much easier to find our bus. We were told that you had to buy tickets at the small ticket office (cash only) first. However we noticed that other people paid as they got on the bus and this didn’t seem to be a problem. Don’t expect to get much help from the ticket office - they were completely disinterested and seemed to resent any questions. In contrast the bus drivers were very helpful so it’s best to stick your head into one of the buses and ask them directly. The trip took about 15 minutes and was €2.60 one way. The Paradise stop is the last one and we got off at a minimart. It wasn’t immediately obvious where to go so we simply crossed the road and followed a couple of people through what looked like a housing or holiday complex until we came to the beach club entrance. Buses to and from the old town are reasonably regular.

Beautiful beach with a fantastic sea!! We stayed at the Tropicana and my opinion is overall more than positive: very kind staff, reserved but still present in case of need, large and comfortable beds, until 16 is quiet with very pleasant background music. From 4pm onwards the disco starts with loud music and people dancing late but you know it works like this if you decide to go to paradise beach and in my opinion one day there is fun because, compared to the super paradise beach where the average age was really low (18 maximum 20 years), I also found older people, of all ages (but this is my experience, I was in August, maybe in June or September even at super paradise you find older people). Price 70 euros plus 35 per person (in line with the beach clubs of mykonos) and free parking (really one of the few beaches to have it free). The only flaw in a really nice location is that the 35 euros of consumption you have to spend x strength before 4 pm... after the party there are other much higher prices for drinks and food... we had lunch and in the end they are spent but I would have preferred to be able to use them for the afternoon, instead we had to spend another 40 euros to drink... it is a small note that definitely does not affect a judgment overall more than positive. Recommendation for a fun day for all ages

We visited this beach as part of a tour that was supposed to "touch on" the highlights of the island, including the best beaches. We came in May, intentionally, to try to avoid the party atmosphere that we had read comes more in the summer months. The tour left us at this beach, even though we were all 40+, for 2 hours. We both thought it was bordering on torture, and the disappointment overshadowed most of the fun we had for the rest of the visit to this island. There were so many other beautiful places on this island that we could have gone.
The music was so loud that we chose to protect our ears and ended up hiking away from the beach up on the rocks to try to get away from it. It was also that "EDM" kind of music, which really isn't our style. We're not too old to enjoy drinks, dance and good music, but this was painful. When you get a certain age, you start to realize how important your hearing is.
Most of the others left the beach during the tour as well, and we found them all outside waiting for the bus a half hour before the tour was over. There were people paid to pull people on the dance floor and try to engage them in dirty dancing, which the couples didn't appreciate. Dancers in exotic outfits. Apparently, some people would enjoy that.
I honestly don't think I would have enjoyed this spot 30 years ago when I was clubbing every night, either.

In July 2023 we visited Paradise beach on Myconos. We arrived on our own without a tour, by ferry.
We wanted to swim, but not sunbathe as it was very hot and we want to spend on the beach time from 11-15 o'clock.
Renting an umbrella and two sunbeds for two people on the beach cost 70 euros. When we rented an umbrella, I noticed that the shadow from the umbrella covers only one sunbed. There was not enough shade on the second sunbed, because the sun was at its zenith. The beach boy said the shade would be longer in the late afternoon, but we wanted to wait out the afternoon sun and needed shade for two sunbeds. Us a result, we had to pay 70 euros for one sunbed with shade for 3,5 hours.

When we settled down, a girl from the bar came up and offered to order some drinks. We got acquainted with the menu and refused, as the price of drinks was quite high.
Then she said that we are obliged to buy drinks or food for 60 euros for two.
We asked where such a duty came from? We did not see the relevant information anywhere (there was no notice board, no papers with a rules or something else). These conditions (to spend 60 eur for drinks) were presented to us after the fact.
We were approached by a threatening-looking security guard who pretended not to understand English, but who by all appearances showed that we were obliged to make the appropriate purchase.

The name of the company providing sunbads on the Paradise beach was Tropicana.

I consider myself deceived and want to warn other people about Paradise beach and Tropicana company.

Cruisers please think very carefully before going on this trip! Here is some information that I hope will help you make a more informed decision! We paid £41 each for this trip only to find that the additional cost for sunbeds as per the trip description was 50 euros! ( 2 sunbeds and an umbrella.) We were only there 3 hours! Our Tour Guide (Intercruises/TUI) after speaking to the Manager informed us we had a discount and that we would be charged 40 euros! But No! we were all charged 50 euros and when we complained we were told that there had been a misunderstanding! The Tour Guide explained that although she had thought the Manager had said we would be charged 40 euros what he had actually said was that he had reserved 40 sunbeds for our party! I find this hard to believe especially as I heard the member of staff, collecting payment, inform a couple that it was 40 euros in our area and 50 elsewhere! When you are there it is difficult to refuse to pay especially as there is not a lot of space between sunbeds to put down towels. The beach is not great! Paradise this is not! There are other beaches within walking distance to the Port and a regular free shuttle bus so there are other options.

Everyone seemed to be buying tickets for the boat to Paradise beach at the main port. We had the afternoon free so sounded like a good idea. It was a fairly long boat trip which was pleasant enough and you got about 3 hours on the beach which sounded ideal.
The beach was full of sunbeds with no place to lay your towel down if you didn’t want to pay the €60 to hire two sunbeds. The sand was very coarse and difficult to walk on and most people we spoke to were very disappointed.

We have visited Paradise beach for the last 9 years we have used the sun beds and restaurant every year. We paid between €20 and €25 for two sun loungers and an umbrella each year we have been here. Today we visited and took up two sun beds and an umbrella only to be told it would be €70 euros. I thought I had misheard the guy but no he said €70!!! How can it go from one season being €25 to the following season being €70! Disgusting! We left and got the bus straight back to Mykonos town. We will never return to what used to be a beautiful relaxed beach and “reasonable” in Mykonos terms. Also they had crammed so many more sun beds on to the beach this year there was nowhere at all to lay a towel. Very sad and disappointing.

Disorganization reigns supreme.
Access to the beach is free and parking is free. You can sit wherever you want and then the attendant arrives for payment (first three rows €35/person, from the fourth onwards €30/person).
Not very attentive staff, every time we had to ask for the menu and then return it, requests from the staff on whether or not food/drinks had been paid for and beach set to surrounding customers.
Sunbeds with dirty and impractical mattresses, very small umbrellas.

Acceptable but low quality food, prices below average: a hamburger, a caprese and a coke €26.50 in total.

Long, sandy beach, calm and crystalline sea, about twenty meters from the shore with rocks at the bottom.

Music all day and from 4.30pm onwards DJ sets with free access.

In summary: beautiful setting but a beach to avoid

We were sold a €20 boat ride to a beautiful beach boasting restaurants, jet skis and more. There is one restaurant owed by the Paradise Beach Resort and no jet skis. If you are not a resort guest, there is a €25 per person fee for a lounge chair. No towel service, no drink service. We ate at the restaurant and the food was good and priced right. We decided to sit near the water and not purchase lounge chairs since our stay was short. The staff was extremely rude and insisted we leave the beach club. Not recommended for cruise ship travelers.
