We visited this amazing walk through the woods with our two dogs. It was so much fun and such a lovely place to walk. There is so many little tracks in the wood, it so peaceful and beautiful. I highly recommend a visit.

Jenkinstown Park: Just a 10min drive from Kilkenny City in the South East of Ireland, Jenkinstown Park was once part of a large estate. Today, the old house is long gone but remnants of 1870s parkland have survived, including rare Chinese Necklace Poplars. The facilities...More

The area is really pretty. We did a walk through the park and followed the trail. There is a deer park with a lot of deer grazing and there are many areas to take great nature pictures.

We went for a family walk through the woods and found reindeer in a walled garden. My daughters were over the moon. The icing on the cake was the generous lady who had a bag of carrots and they got to fed them. Recommend this...More

This forest is ten minutes drive from Kilkenny. Loads of parking in a walled garden where families often bring picnics etc and have a bite to eat before or after a walk. The forest is simple and nature at its best. There are no tricks...More
