Lovely walk for dog owners and walkers alike, grassed area with in my view the best Cafe in Leysdown...nothing else to do here except sit and look to the sea.

The shellness road stretch of beach also has a lay by but don't bother to try and park your car as it is regularly full of caravans and motor homes some of them staying for months without ever having to move on , one of the motor home owners even has his own particular parking space and if he ever... The coastal park is peaceful and tranquil. There is a pitch and putt golf course and plenty of open space. There is also a small play area for children. Further along is a small cafe open in the summer serving take away drinks and ice cream. For a bite to eat the garden cafe is good value

Everything about this place was stuck in the 50s! Didn't matter as was there for the kids and they don't notice this kind of thing! The bakery was soooo cheap and extremely tasty! Arcades usual pricing kids enjoyed it! Was freezing but the beach was lovely can imagine it's nice in summer! Some unusual characters wandering around but then you... More

The only reason me and my parents visit is for the range of seafood we can get and the local chippy which is clean and has good food. We've visited plenty of times over the past year or so and the summer holidays was the worst. I witness some local children threatening other people's kids for what looked like no... More

NOW my best bit - Lavs yep or Loo's ,bogs, toilets 💜💙💚❤️ well a big bravo to the 2 ladies who keep those toilets so clean... More

Visit a few times during summer as it's 1 of our nearest beaches and I love sea swimming. Because the tide goes out so far it needs to be high for the water to be deep enough to swim in. Fairly peaceful as just out of Leysdown itself and free parking. Always head for the excellent Coastal Park Garden Cafe... More
