Our crew fished with Macinnis Bluefin Tuna Charter and the fishing was unbelievable. The Maccinis Charter is very professional and the hospitality was superb. We had a once in a lifetime experience being able to hook up Giant Bluefin Tuna and bring them to leader. The charter went above and beyond our expectations. They encouraged us and supported us from start to finish with excellent service, and fishing only learned through experience. I would highly recommend this Charter to anyone who would like to achieve the pinnacle of fishing, or have an adventure of a lifetime.

MacInnis Bluefin Tuna Charters is one class act. From the afternoon we arrived in Arisaig Nova Scotia till the day we left, Captain Stevie, his lovely wife Mary, son Danny( first mate ) and other mate Tommy boy did everything in their power to ensure that we were put on fish, fed untill we were bursting at the seams and made to feel like we were part of the family. My 3 friends and myself could not have been made more welcome. In 3 days we had 4 tuna to the boat ,600+, 800+ and 2 900+ with one break off of biblical proportions I am sure...You have to save one for the story telling...lol. Every day Steve's wife Mary made sure that there was a hot breakfast and lunch to have on board with every other kind of snack from homemade muffins and other treats to the best sea food chowder that I have ever had the pleasure of eating. You never knew what was coming up from the galley or out of the big blue tote on deck. Captain Stevie's handling of the Carrie Anne whether in the middle of a bunch of other boats and nets or elsewhere on the water with an enraged tuna on the end of your line was masterful to say the least. Danny and Tommy were very helpful when you got hooked up from making sure that you had a drink of water. keeping you positioned right to the fish or just giving expert advice and encouragement. We had the pleasure of see lots of other wildlife from seals to Pilot whales and a very curious giant ocean sunfish that thought he should check out the boat. All in all it was an awesome experience and if you are thinking about a trip like this make sure to look up MacInnis Bluefin Charters. You will not be taken better care of or have a more enjoyable experience anywhere.

Steve took us out for a wonderful morning on the water. A review of 5 stars doesn’t even do it justice. The hospitality, company and experience was top notch. Steve went out of his way to take us out, and let my son be captain for the ride. We’ve been talking about our day on the water constantly. If you are in the area this is a must! We can’t wait to visit again next year and try our hand at tuna!

Gorgeous day, wonderful adventure! Such a unique experience of maritime hospitality. The view from the water was amazing! We saw whales, seals and a pod of dolphins! Stevie MacInnis and Dan were very friendly and patient and the food provided for breakfast and lunch was delicious😆

Captain Steve took my family of 5 out on some very choppy seas for a few hours to fish for mackerel and tour the area (we were looking for whales). We were so lucky that he had time to take us out on his boat! He was the most interesting person and talked to each of us about how his tuna business operates and what fishing is like for commercial fishermen. He was endlessly fascinating and incredibly generous with his time. Of our 9 day vacation in N.S., this was by far the best experience we had. We haven't shut up about it since he took us out! Our 3 boys are already begging to visit him again.
I wouldn't recommend any vacation adventure more than a wee boat trip on the Carrie Anne and I wouldn't hesitate to call on Steve to take us out in the future.

Arisaig is serene community of 50 or so families. A fishing village based on Lobster and Bluefin Tuna! Captain Stevie is an expert professional with an amazing work ethic. The hospitality on the boat was over the top with homemade dishes served daily. - - a seafood chowder stands out as the "best ever". We'll be back and next time we'll stay longer!
