We made a flying vist today and it looks like the park has nailed it with regard to walkers and mountain bikers. There are several routes for both that have varying lengths and difficulty. We had coffee and hotdogs which arrived quickly, although not quite...More

Afan was a perfect stop off to break up a trip back from Pembrokeshire with the family. In 3hrs we rode the green Rookie and Blue Scar trails with our teenage children, which were perfect. Be prepared for a long uphill on the blue, but...More

Love the blue trail, wouldn’t bother with the (orange) red one though. Stopped for lunch in the cafe, quote a long wait, but who cares, it’s Sunday! Really great sandwiches with the most interesting side salad I’ve ever had - blueberries, raspberries, strawberries & a...More

Nice people and good, quick service. Everyone enjoyed their lunch. Sadly, dogs were not allowed in despite this being a popular place to walk dogs.
