Disliked - the entrance Fees is pricey at 300K Rupiah on weekend. too many sellers trying their luck to sell souvenirs, a bit irritating

Negative: A bit expensive for me for ticket. Luckily we went on weekdays. Positive: Nice volcanic scenery and surrounding. Highly recommeded to bring your DSLR and selfie stick. Awesome mother nature and definately I plan to visit again.

We hired a private driver and he drove us all the way to the top. Otherwise at the base, there are mini-vans that you can take. They will wait to gather 15 pax and then depart. I forgot how much they charge per person though.

For local the entrance/ person is IDR 20k (weekday) and 30k (weekend). For foreigner 200k and 300k. Plus it is also an entrance charge for the car or bus. Current currency rate is USD 1 = IDR 13k. I hope this is useful.
