Found it interesting to see the baby soft shell turtles and a video on the work they do . Very rundown facility though. If doing a day tour including dolphin watching, 100 pillar pagoda and meditation centre then worth a stop.

Well I recently visited this place north of Kratie (which is on the grounds of the 100 pillar temple) - and although I suppose it doesn't exactly live up to an amazing 5 star experience as per my rating, but the cause is a very...More

The place is very small however you can see that the people here are passionate about what they do and try there hardest to save the turtle with little resource. You must really visit this place and support the work they do.

Being very keen to help the project and see the turtles, we were hoping based on some reviews that for the price (4USD is a lot for the region) that we would get good explanations and wee a nice conservation center. Unfortunately the place is...More

Though only a small centre set in the grounds of a temple this place is well worth a visit even if just to support the conservation work they do with the soft shellwd turtles. We were able to see some baby soft shelled turtles and...More

We liked it a lot. The people here really do a great job for the turtles. It is a bit of a drive on a small motorbike or with a bike. Please support this good and noble initiative to help the turtles.

This is certainly not a tourist attraction, nor is it meant to be. The center is working extremely hard to promote the conservation of this imperiled turtle species, and runs on an extremely tight budget. Therefore, it is small and to many might seem like...More

Very poor place but behind that they are doing a great job for the conservation of that rare turtles. It is true, a lot of turtles are under the sand but you can see some of them. Consider that it is pretty much impossible to...More

This place is located on the temple grounds. There are a few small turtles and some larger ones that apparently cannot be released into the wild. Worth a short visit

I have mixed feelings about this place. There is really not much to see. The building is badly kept and from outside it seemed like a bit of a dump. Inside there were several small aqariums with baby turtles in them. The guide at the...More

Hi Shannon, I can't remember the exact cost but it's a small fee (a few US $). My recommendation for Kratie, if you're not travellig by motorbike, is to hire a tuk tuk driver for the day. We used a guy called Ben who... More
