Wine tasting, cheese platter and a very tasty Pinot Noir on a crisp, sunny winter afternoon. Picturesque location sitting on deck overlooking vines and to the mountains. Perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

A small winery with a small tasting area which serves small plates of good standard food. These are at reasonable prices and the view is relaxing, the staff were welcoming and friendly

We stumbled across Moores Hill, while exploring the Tamar district. The manager was extremely helpful and friendly, wine-tasting a great experience but the lunch platter, while generous, was not particularly interesting.

Very much appreciated the personal service. Although the cellar door is a small operation the expansive views, knowledgable attention, and fabulous local food make this a wonderful place to visit. Welcoming attention by the winery dog added to a very personal ambience

What are the transportation options for this and other wineries other than the guided tours that seem to cost 100-150 per person? Cab or bus available? We are staying in Launceston 14-16 Feb
