Open to visit after morning prayer, this large mosque underlines the importance of Tlemcen in Algerian history. The minaret is particularly appealing.

Classical mosque in the heart of Tlemcen. Very easy to reach by walking. Open during prayer times. The map here in tripadvisor is misleading as it is from somewhere in India. If you are interested in architecture it is worth a visit.

This is a pretty mosque which is worth a visit whilst in Tlemcen town. Photos are discouraged inside the mosque, but you can probably get a few pics of the entrance without causing too much offence. Women can enter provided appropriate head coverings are worn.
