Having lived in and around Pontypool all my life, this wonderful Park is something that is often taken for granted. In stark contrast to the depressing mire that is the town centre, the park is well-kept, large and offers a variety of attractions including a children's play area, skate park, ponds, the ski slope, Folly Tower, Shell Grotto, fantastic views,... Lovely park to walk the dogs among other activities. Even a dry ski slop. Always lots of people milling about. There's a sports centre, the venue for Pontypool rfc. And ample parking.

I love this park. It's got a bit of everything. Great to walk the dog. Go for a run. Take the kids. You've got the leisure centre and ski slope which are big pulls. Cafe let's you take dogs inside. Plenty of green fields. A stadium to watch the rugby. Loads of wildlife. Beautiful historical walks. Tennis courts.

This is a lovely, multilayered park.Includes a dry ski slope, ponds a grotto, and a leisure centre with an excellent dog friendly cafe.Terrain is steep in places, but the views are worth it.Always clean and well maintained. Also good kids play area and skate area. The shell grotto is some times open to the public.

Very basic area with a few trees, apparently a Park. The parking is very poor and loads of teenagers hanging around making it unsuitable for a quiet family walk.
