The children's play park at Kirkleatham is a favourite with our grandchildren. The Museum has a lovely collection of local history and travelling exhibitions from time to time. Definitely a place that you can visit more than once.

If you like anything to do with the Saxon’s, you will enjoy your visit here. Although there is quiet a lot to look at, there is also a lot of reading. 2 or 3 of the rooms are just given over to exhibiting very expensive...More
Wonderful exhibitions such as the Saxon Princess Jewels exhibition...story of the discovery by local historian retold through visual images plus replicas of the Jewels showcased. We did not visit the museum, but the play area is a joy. Loads of fitness tests for children, and lots of space for games especially football.
