An amazing museum to visit highly recommend a visit you can use the grounds for a picnic or for kids to play no charge in museum also has a cafe serving lovely freshly cooked food not expensive either

A very good and well displayed exhibit every time I visit there’s always something for old and young to do and you don’t get ripped of with entrance fees lovely park and picnic tables to enjoy a packed lunch and the best bit it’s free

2 miles from redcar, free parking and free to entre. with a great out doorplay area... Council ran with clean toliets buggy and wheel chair useable. they often run week events please check their facebook page. We recently went to their xmas fair, to to...More

Not been here for many years then visited with our grandson for the playpark . This is modern and brilliant for children and is set in open parkland. Just on the off chance we visited the museum on site. What a great place and free...More

We always take visitors to the Kirkleatham Museum as it gives a very good view of the local history of the area in an interesting and entertaining way. The displays are always excellent and the art galleries show some really good exhibits from local artists...More

Lots of local history (well fact-checked - thumbs up!) and a fantastically stocked gift shop. But where have the mummies gone? Thumbs down for the exclusion of ancient Egyptian memorabilia
