We visited the centre and enjoyed meeting all the birds and meerkats there. The small entrance fee goes towards the upkeep of the birds. It wasn't a great day weather wise on our visit but if it was you could picnic in the attached park....More

Hi, I think the opening times are 10am until 4pm, but it does tell you on the website. If you have children with you there is a nice children's play area next to the car park and a local History Museum.
