We unfortunately only had two days in this region but are really glad we spent one day doing the 'Discoverer' day trip with this company. We walked from Medlands Bay to Anchorage which took about 3 hours. It's a really great way to see the park in a short space of time and get a taste of the famous Abel... More

I booked the Abel Tasman cruise and enjoyed it enormously. It is a lovely part of the world, and the trip gave us a good look at the many lovely beaches and other features along the Park. Mike, the skipper, and Nic his colleague were delightful and Mike gave us an excellent commentary. I enjoyed it enormously.

We took a 9 am cruise around the national park ( "Discovery Day") and later got off at Medland Beach to hike back to Anchorage Point. The shuttle picked us up at Anchorage Point ( 3:30 pm or 5 pm - your choice) and brought back to Kaiteriteri. Great and timely service. The crew was very friendly and helpful. A... More

This was our second trip on sea shuttles and well worth it. The commentary is funny and informative there is alot to experience and see with sea shuttles. There are various trips pick ups and drop offs within the national park. There are some snacks on board as well as toilets and a good viewing deck up top. They also... More

Very nice view in both the ferry and the walk we had. Only two thinks - departure was scheduled at 10.30 and boarding starts at 10.20. However we arrived at 10:25 and the book was leaving already luckily they came back seeing us. If you are fit the hike wouldn't take as long as mentioned on the flyer. A bit... More

First hiked and heard about the terrain which was great as able to hear then went on a half day sea kayak. Best of all worlds. It was fabulous and I think I would have been too sore with a full day kayak. It was great to hike and see the views of where I was about to kayak. I... More

I booked "discovery a day" option. So that I can see the whole park view on the boat, then get off one beach, hike a little bit, and get on the boat at another beach. It's very easy way to explore Abel Tasman.

So we didn't get off the shuttle but used it as a cruise through the beautiful Abel Tasman Park. You can get off and trek and get back on, you can get off and idle on one of the beautiful beaches then get back on to return home - or you can do what we did - stay on the... More

We took the shorter version which was and hour and forty minutes and went up to Medland Beach. I think you can debark at any of the beaches on the way to Medland and hike back if you have a mind to. The captain was very entertaining and offered lots of good information. Seating is plentiful but you're allowed to... More

We booked a three-day passport to complete a section of the trail and it was just so easy to board the shuttle and be picked up later in the day. The vessels were always on time and the friendly and knowledgeable staff (from the ticket office as well as the boats) were just excellent. Thanks.
