Built on the site of a late medieval abbey, Syon boasts one of the finest Robert Adam interiors in the country and has a magnificent collection of paintings and furniture. Set in 200 acres of parkland and Capability Brown designed gardens, which includes the Great Conservatory, Syon is one of London's hidden treasures.

This House belongs to the the Duke of Northumberland and has been inhabited by his family since the 16th Century. The current interior was designed by Robert Adam in the 1760s. We spent a very enjoyable afternoon in the house and on the grounds.

Syon House has various rooms designed by Robert Adam which are quite breathtaking. The house is very interesting and the guides on hand are very informative. Lovely open spaces around the house. The house is not open on Saturdays.
