A surprisingly interesting attraction, with loads of aircraft to see, from way back right up to now, both military and commercial. you will wonder how on Earth they squeezed them all in! There are videos and story-boards, and very helpful and knowledgeable staff. The entry fee was quite reasonable, and afterwards we were able to walk over to the RAAF... More

The guided tour of the Avro Lancaster was the best, the gentleman that did it was very knowlegable and an absolute delight to listen to his stories. the Battle of Britain lace that is on display and the history of it is unreal and quite magnificent to see.

Get up close to aircraft, their engines, and various bits and pieces related to aviation, including a live radar display of the Perth area. Children can climb into various cockpits, and for AUD100 you can join a tour of the inside of a Lancaster bomber. The volunteer guides are a treasure, eager to share their love and knowledge of aviation.... More

I have lived in Perth 37 years and live only 10 mins from the museum. I should have made the visit long before now as I spent an enjoyable 2.5 hours with a friend wandering around the displays. It's not overtly big comprising of 2 halls, whilst not having a massive display what they do have is quality and you... More

Aviation Heritage Museum, Bullcreek is another must (see also Army Museum, Fremantle) for West Australian’s interested in the military history of our Australian service men and women. It centers mainly on the Royal Australian Air Force which started out as a Corps within the Army ie the Flying Corps during WWI. The army still operates an aviation wing flying mainly... More

Having lived in the area of this Aviation Museum for 30 yrs and driven passed it countless times, I have never been inside. We took the 2 grandchildren 5 and 7yrs in the school holidays. What a pleasant surprise. Even though I am not a plane enthusiast I was still fascinated at the variety of planes and memorabilia displayed. It... More

This place is very easy to find. We take a public transport from the city of Perth. We get a lot of knowledge about military plane.

What an amazing treasure this Museum is ! Only 10klm from the center of Perth, easily accessible by the suburban train South, ( one alights at the Bull Creek Station, and a short walk sees you at the Museum) or the Leach Hi-Way off-ramp on the Kwinana Freeway. Look on the website, take a virtual tour if you wish, but... More
