Miguel, our English speaking guide was exceptional. Witty, knowledgeable and loaded us up with taste testers the entire 2 hours of our tour. I have a new respect for Tequila. Thank you Miguel for a fantastic tour of the distillery.

Ours was a tour of the Jose Cuervo plantation and estate, beginning with the work of the jimador in the agave fields and ending with a seated tasting and explanation of the various ages of Cuervo tequila. It was my 3rd and my partner's 4th or 5th tour in Tequila, and we agreed it was by far the best. Our tour was in Spanish (which was no obstacle in our case), and there are English-speaking tours available. The tour took almost 3 hours, and it was relaxed, fun, and informative throughout. Our guide, Marco, was the best--totally knowledgeable and accessible. This was one of the more expensive tours, so you might have to request it when you arrive at the Cuervo reception.

We did not take the tasting tour much to our regret so I highly recommend that for the additional price of 100 pesos added to the tour. Learned a lot and this will go down as one of my fondest Mexico trips,
