Recently had a visit to the beautiful town of Tequila in Guadalajara Mexico.. Had the opportunity to take the Casa Sauza tour. It was a great tour, my respects to the guides. They sure do know their information, but most importantly the passion they have for what they do is great. I am bad with names. But the lady who took us inside the factory had a great sense of humor and positive attitude. I must say she was the best part of the tour. The other lady who gave us the information outside had perfect english making it easier to understand the information given. It is also impressive how tequila is made and the history behind the roots of it all. Highly recomend the tour if you have an oppportunity. Would have like to probably have more tequila tasting (more variety and not just the same) but with what was given. Was satisfactory.

Casa Sauza Tequila factory tour Tour was $700 Mx for 4 (2 adults and 2 teens) Tour starts at their hacienda located a few blocks from the main plaza. The property is beautiful with outdoor garden. The house has a gift shop where you can buy souvenirs and Sauza Tequila. Tour was completely in Spanish so our private tour guide made arrangements so he could translate for me. My husband speaks Spanish so he didn’t have any issues understanding. They take you through several areas of the factory showing the different processes. Lots of different tequilas to taste throughout the tour. It was a nice tour maybe 45 mins. I wished I had been able to see the fields where they harvest the Agave. Tour was very expensive and we’re not big drinkers so the tequila drinking was lost on us. My 17 yo daughter tried tequila for the first time, that was priceless!

The tour was good, we were just 5 people so person who gave the explanation was very polite and gave us a lot tequila to taste. Very instructive and profesional. they take to the fields and the farm to demostrate the process from the start Pretty close from downtown We just selected the tour, but in the web they offer many other options to select. At the end, they gave us a coctail, my God, delicious.

We had a great guide. The tour was translated into English. We were taken to an agave field for the demonstration. Tequila during the tour and a margherita at the end.
