The museum isn't too far off then plaza. The enytance fee is low. They have good displays in a pretty building. The display room with tequila varieties is amazing...so many bottles and brands.

Small but interesting museum, with English signage, on everything tequila-from the growing to harvesting through distilling and retail. Some interesting artwork and one room with hundreds of bottles representing most of the brands. Many of the bottles are works of art in their own right. Entrance fee is 15 pesos and it takes an hour or less to walk through. Best to do it first, before you go on distillery tours as it’s good background so you get more out of the tours. …

You've traveled all the way to learn about tequila, right? Then why wouldn't you spend just a little bit of time away from the tastes to learn a little bit more about the spirit of this area? It's not a huge museum, but you'll get lots of good background and info on both the area and the drink. Salud...…

Small but interesting museum on the history of Tequila, the production process and a gallery of historical bottles and brands. Great value entry at only 15 pesos. Well worth a visit. A 2 minute walk from the main square and Jose Cuervo
