It had been almost 50 years since I was last on a golf course. My two sons are great enthusiasts and the youngest one managed to persuade me to come along, assuring me his ability level would not be intimidating for me. It certainly wasn't and I quickly understood why he had brought along a tray of golf balls as he ended attacking trees as he pulled his shots right, providing a satisfying 'thwhacking' noise on intervening trees. I only lost one ball. We did not keep score and just had fun. I imagine it is more than adequately challenging for capable golfers and pros alike.
We 'retired' half way through the 9 holes as it was more than enough fun for me for a first time out on a course in half a century. My youngest son's game had gone to pieces thinking about some ex girlfriend. Frankly, I found the experience similar to fishing and marvelously de-stressing with a modicum of exercise thrown in.
Now, we did use a golf cart which was great fun to drive and much appreciated for the undulating landscape.
If you get hungry, a very nice little restaurant with patio for sunny days. Pub grub type food. Efficient and friendly service as are the staff when you check in to pay for your round of golf. The lady there was surprised we were back half an hour early, thinking we would have taken two hours. I explained we had had great fun but half way was enough for my first time out.
All in all, a great local attraction and recommended for anyone of almost any golfing ability short of a rabid divot digger as the greens I saw were in very nice condition and well tended.

This 9 hole course will challenge even the best - and it is so fun to play. You have to pay attention though because the views a so beautiful it's distracting. The 4th is straight uphill, then straight downhill to a plateau then over a gully to the green. Each hole has it's own character. Walking the course is only for the very fit!

Really enjoyed ourselves out on patio, very picturesque. Meals were good and we'll presented just small and pricey. Worth the visit.

The course was in terrible condition. The tee boxes didn’t have grass on them and if they did it was on the men’s tee boxes. The greens also had some issues. The price was okay for what we got but I wouldn’t recommend it to good golfers.

This course is "only" 9 holes, but they are the biggest 9 holes I've every played. You can play them twice through for 18 very tough holes. A few water holes and sand near every green. I can't overstate just how much up and down this course is. If you are wanting a cardio workout, then walk and pull your clubs. Otherwise a motorized cart is necessary for sure. There is the 4th hole, which I call the MONSTER. Par 5 and possibly one of the most difficult holes in BC. Blind drive up up up the hill to a plateau and then down down down to the green. If you can get on the plateau after your drive you have a chance at a par.

Hole 9 is also a blind drive. Some water holes add the the excitement. Bring extra balls, because unless you are accurate you'll lose some.

Best 9 hole course I have played. Incredible layout, some holes you'll only see here. Must play course if you are at the far end of the Coast.

A local dine around promotion brought us to this unassuming eatery in late afternoon. The server was full of life and the band for the evening was fortunately rehearsing briefly.or conversation would have been very difficult. The fish and chips were exactly as hoped for and my Shepherd’s pie and fresh side salad with raspberry dressing were also as expected. I really needed some gravy to overcome the dry casserole though. My request for black tea was almost unanswered...not everyone likes herbal tea (which is a tisane, not tea) and Earl Grey is best with sweets. I will return as the atmosphere was welcoming and the decor cosy and understated.
