Just a wonderful stretch of beach with clear, sand based shallow water. A small beach bar and parking just a few yards away. Bar serves basic snacks and drinks and is very reasonably priced. Not only do they provide FREE loungers, fixed parasols but also throw in a couple of small chairs which are handy when reading and you don't want... More

This is a long beach with lots of facilities. There are 2 beach bars serving food and drink and with umbrellas. Also there are some watersports facilities. You can choose where you sit on the beach. We preferred to sit away from the crowds but within walking distance when we were hungry or thirsty. The beach is also lovely right... More

Have been coming here for a number of years. Have tried all the beaches in this area and this is certainly the best. Easy access, clean, plenty of space, quiet (except July/August), good swimming in warm water. No facilities but a couple of pop up cafes with beach beds. OK if this is your thing but much better to bring... More

We have visited all of this beach over the last two years. Whilst it is nice and sandy it is also packed with people and very busy in August and we preferred the beach at the Gialova end which was just as good and more convenient.

Natural lagoon, unspoiled by human. You have 2 lagoons, both perfectly sandy with clean water. It is better to have umbrella, water etc since there is no shower / umbrella at the beach. If going to the further lagoon, through Paleokastro, on the way back you have free shower and excelant greek hospitality ( natural juices, fruits) so you can... More

Take your family an umbrella and go. Don't worry for drinks you can find a good beach bar there. Also prepare for all day beach day with sun protection.

The beach is sandy, quiet, clean and long, with shallow waters suitable for children, who can pick sea shells and track small fish and crabs. There is some shade from the small trees and there is also a beach bar for supplies. They also rent beach chairs with umbrellas while they play low music and provide showers and a small... More

At the end of Navarino bay just opposite Sfaktiria island lies Golden Beach. There is only one area with Umbrellas and deck chairs and the reason why is that the whole area is presrved by Natura 2000 regulations. Still the swallow waters and really golden sand at the beach, together with the vast size of it, is a perfect palcce... More

Spent a lovely afternoon relaxing on this beautiful clean stretch of beach. Lovely views of Pylos and Navarino Bay. Water is shallow, you can walk most of the way to Sfaktiria at the narrowest point (you have to swim a short distance) but watch out for boats and jet skis! Take your own refreshments - the beach bar (Cantina) down... More
