Beautiful spot!

This is a stunning beach with lots of nice tavernas along the beach. Also take a trip up to the monastery and pop into the aquarium...

Paleokastritsa Beach is a small beach in nice bay with beachside restaurants. There are a lot of pebbles on the beach and it is quite near a road so it is convenient but not seculuded

Visited over Easter and beach empty !! Crystal clear waters full of fish - water freezing tho (typical English yes we went in!!) locals assured us it will warm up but of course that means you won't get the beach to yourself - loved it

We drove all the way from Kavos (where the beaches are not so nice) and it was well worth the road trip! Absolutely stunning beach with completely crystal clear waters. We got some sun loungers as soon as we arrived and there was a waitress service to the loungers, hadn't expected that! Great water for snorkelling and the beach wasn't... More

Nice clean beaches, although not overly sandy. Excellent protected coves for swimming with beautiful crystal-clear water and shallows. Especially good for the kids. Tons of parking and some rather nice beach-front tavernas which were more than just tacky bars.

Beach was actually dirty - too many tourists in a few small cover. Take an umbrella - there are none for hire.

This place although small is well worth a visit. You can get a boat taxi around the the bay you could also get the submarine around the bay.

Last year we had our vacation planned in Corfu. Some of our friends recommended we choose our hotel in Paleokastritsa and so we did. I must tell you we didn't regret a second! I think it is the most wonderful place in Corfu! It has 4 beaches with tiny rocks so you need to upgrade your slippers :) but all... More

We did not go in the water, but the water in the bays looked clear-blue. Several resorts along this scenic area. Continuing up the mountain is the Monastery of the Virgin (still occupied by 8 monks) and a small museum. Definitely worth a visit!

Went on beach after we visited monastery. Had a delicious meal in restaurant on the. Beach. Good selection of Greek food all homemade. Beach is a mixture of pebbles and sand. Water is very cold. Surrounded by mountains. Can go on boat trips around the bay. Gift shops and handicrafts to buy.
