One of my favorites. The course designed by James Braid is magnificent. The management is excellent. Very challenging and fun. The food and staff in the clubhouse is also excellent.

This is an annual visit to this fantastic course. It was in really good condition, I found the greens quite fast; so took a few holes to gauge the pace. The wind added an extra challenge as more than half the holes seemed to be...More

For £42.50 this was a great price to play one of the best inland golf courses in Scotland. Tight but playable, iconic steam and diesel trains running up and down the rail way line adding to the atmosphere. Great par 3's and what a hard...More

I played here for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it. The way the ball ran on the fairways suited my game, it was a beautiful dry day. Handy having a toilet shed half way round as well. The course was in great condition and...More

My first visit to this course and will certainly not be the last. Some of the views are breath-taking as are some of the holes. Most courses have a signature hole. This course could have a dozen!

My wife and I booked a lesson with Ross Harrower. He's an excellent coach, he corrected our errors with simple, easy to understand explanations and his company made our game so much more enjoyable.

Me and my daughter played the course early August. An interesting and demanding layout, with nice features like the old steam train passing by. I love the mature and historic feeling, a course with dignity. Unfortunately we had a severe rain for a while, and...More

So glad you enjoyed our course despite the rain and thanks for your comments. Our buggies are set at the speed they are to ensure that visitors who are unfamiliar with the links style moguls on the fairways do not drive them too fast and...More
