Visited in November, hadn’t realised it was closed for refurbishment. We explained it was my birthday weekend and that we had family over from the USA who were desperate to see this place. Very kindly, a member of staff Ms Quinn, offered to take us...More

The Hall has been devoid of modernisation by virtue of the mixed fortunes of the owners through the ages, prior to it being passed to the National Trust and what an interesting place this is now as a result of so much of the original...More

Finally got to visit this gem. I found Little Moreton Hall quite different from a lot of other properties I have visited over the years. Due to it being rented out since the early 1600s it has changed very little since building finished so retains...More

Another visit to this unique Tudor house - if you like walking do take a walk down to the canal - about half a mile each way or make up a longer walk. The house is fantastic - we have a guided tour by a...More

We came here after visiting nearby Biddulph. I very nearly turned round and walked back to the car after my first view of the building, covered in scaffolding! Luckily I persisted because this one of the most interesting NT properties I have ever visited. We...More

Very pleasant morning spent ambelling around this Tudor jem. Tour was great food, afternoon tea, was lovely. Would imagine it could get very busy on a busy weekend or holiday, but wonderful on a quiet day.

I first discovered Little Moreton Hall while living in England in the late 1990's. It is a almost unspoiled example to a wooden tudor house that had been in the same family from it was built until it was given to the National trust 400...More

I know the hall itself is open 11:00 -17:00 each day, I would expect the car park to open sooner, maybe 10:00 but I don't know for sure.

I think this property would be difficult to view and the narrow winding stairs would not be accessible . You could view the gardens and some of downstairs, but bear in mind that this is a quirky crooked old property and is... More

Hi there. Just checked the NT's book. During early October it is NOT open Monday and Tuesday. During the last week it is open all week (Half Term?) Suggest the NT website is checked.
