Ever wondered what it is like to play on a British Open type Links Course. Well Axe Cliff can give you that feel. With spectacular views of the Jurassic Coast, Axe Cliff is a Little Gem in East Devon. A challenging course with gorse grass if you hit wayward shots, but enjoyable if you manage your game just like the professionals. Many feature holes will make you want to play them again and again. Love or hate Links courses, Axe Cliff is here to please.

Played here last weekend with friends on a day trip. We took them up on the round with a meal afterwards for 28 pounds, great value. The course is tough enough to test you but fair enough to make a reasonable score. If your not...More

Sorry about the ball magnet nestling in Lyme Bay. You were playing on what was a busy day for us, so if you thought the pace of play was good then you could play nearly any other day and fly around. We have even had...More

Thank you Chris. I don't know why we have such a special set of members who help visitors at every opportunity; perhaps it is the ozone that makes them light headed and happy. We had an American guest turn up straight from Heathrow from a...More

We were informed that the course was manageable without a buggy. We are glad that we listened to ourselves and hired a buggy. The course is very hilly in places, so if you struggle with your legs it's wise to get a buggy, otherwise you...More

Will we get a motorhome up to the club for a game? I notice one reviewer mentioned the approach road was very tight? Our van is 2.35 wide by 8m long? We are hoping to play this course.
