Hard to review separately as you have to trek to get there unless you water taxi in and out which might be an option for a family with small children--spend a few hours watching them chase the seagulls --looked like great sandbar swimming at the north end (check it for rips with the Aquataxi skipper). Otherwise--if you are doing any... More

While kayaking we saw seals and beautiful birds up close. Since it was windy the guides helped us connect our boats and set up a sail. We had a picknic on the beach

Not too far from the start at Marahau, easy to walk to this bay in a hour or so from the track start.

This is just one of the many beaches in the Abel Tasman National Park. Easy walk in to this beach so take a picnic lunch and enjoy the scenery.

What should have been a beautiful and tranquil beach in a National Park was overtaken by at least 20 water skis, the noise of water skiing all day long and the smell of diesel. I was surprised this was allowed in a National Park.

A quiet bay, swimming is safe and welcome after a long walk. Waters lapping and clear: ideal picnic spot too: only sad thing is that either the boaties or other trampers seem to leave bits of their rubbish behind.. :(

There is a toilet here now and it has a lovely veiw of Adele Island, its golden sand, clear... More
