Sundareswara temple located around 3-5 km from kannur city.This temple can be easily accessible by bus from kannur city .

The Temple is right in the heart of the city. It draws decent crowds in normal days, and is exceptionally crowded during the Festival. Numerous cultural programmes are held during the festival time and the attains a carnival like atmosphere.

We stumbled on this one by accident. Its an amazing Shiva temple which just mesmerizes you. The men need to remove their shirt and enter the temple like most temples in Kerala. I didnt know about it but was nicely pointed out by the priest....More

This old temple is the Abode of Lord Shiva ( Lord Sundareswara )The temple has a unique construction and was consecreated by the great Sage Shri Narayana Guru whose pristine idol also is there in a sitting posture.
