Absolutely breath taking place. Picture perfect. The restaurant is very good too. Drove there for a day trip from St. John's NB. Beautiful countryside the whole way.

We went to Peggy's cove and lighthouse as a shore excursion on a carnival cruise. I could have found a spot and just sat and taken in the beauty for hours. It was a cool, windy, sunny, beautiful fall day and seeing the waves and ocean from the rocks was incredible. Even the rocks were amazing, huge, smooth formations. You... More

Well worth the visit, but go by tour guide - we booked ours on the cruise ship. Also if you can book with the Titanic cemetery

Wonderful scenery, nice place to relax and enjoy the nature. Good for family or couple. As long as you love history or nature.

We stayed in Halifax - this is like 45 minutes drive from there but it is a must to include in your itinerary. I cannot think of the best adjective to describe it as "you have to see it for yourself". The walk to the Lighthouse through the small fishing village is worth every step. Stunning views, shopping & just... More

I was speachless. It cannot be described - you have to see it! You can sit and watch the ocean forever.

This is a beautiful place to visit if you enjoy the ocean, the beautiful Peggy's Cove is one of the most picturesque places in NS..people come from all over the world to breath in the salt water air, watch the wave brush up on the risky rocks that offer danger and beauty. A light house that is famous for it's... More

This is definitely a MUST if in Nova Scotia but make sure you go early. We managed to get parked in the car park just as you enter the village and walked the short way to the rocks and lighthouse. The car park was full when we came back to the car. It is well worth going, even if it... More

This is a beautiful site. Spend some time taking photos and walking around the rocks. Then head over to where the houses are and snap some colourful photos there. Ensure you're wearing proper footwear. This isn't a place for flip flops. Nor is it a fun place for parents with young kids - I saw many a stressed mother and... More
