This is a beautiful place to visit if you enjoy the ocean, the beautiful Peggy's Cove is one of the most picturesque places in NS..people come from all over the world to breath in the salt water air, watch the wave brush up on the risky rocks that offer danger and beauty. A light house that is famous for it's... More

This is definitely a MUST if in Nova Scotia but make sure you go early. We managed to get parked in the car park just as you enter the village and walked the short way to the rocks and lighthouse. The car park was full when we came back to the car. It is well worth going, even if it... More

This is a beautiful site. Spend some time taking photos and walking around the rocks. Then head over to where the houses are and snap some colourful photos there. Ensure you're wearing proper footwear. This isn't a place for flip flops. Nor is it a fun place for parents with young kids - I saw many a stressed mother and... More

Like it's just a lighthouse and multiple rocks. They don't even keep the bar open reasonable hours and one plush lobster costs so much money. BUT there is a no nonsense kitty who's basically down for adventure whenever and whereever. It's dank.

OMG - this place was like an ant hill on the morning we visited via a cruise ship excursion - yes oversold by the cruise ships causing difficulties to get into the store/coffee bar, use the restrooms, and get a decent photo of the iconic lighthouse without dozen of people cluttering the pic. We walked around the fishing village as... More

I visit here just about every year; my wife is Nova Scotian and we rent a house not that far away in most summers and kayak the bay. On a nice day it is packed with tourists but it is still worth seeing as the area is very interesting geologically. Stop by Shaw's Landing in nearby West Dover for the... More

Upon arrival, late morning, the sun was out and skies clear. We found parking at one of the upper lots near the lighthouse, restaurant and gift shop. We started looking in the first lot that we happened upon when we first entered the area. There were lots of cars and lots of people trying to find parking. We were glad... More

We drove from Halifax to Peggy's Cove to visit the Swiss Air Memorial. As this visit was in November there weren't very many people there and we had the place to ourselves and it was nice and quiet. A great experience walking around the lighthouse and watching the waves hit the shoreline with the wind blowing in your face. A... More

We visited on a glorious sunny day - as always very windy. Amazing rocks and water. The amount of tour buses were crazy.

Beautiful spot. Lovely place to visit. People are very friendly and the scenery is tranquil. Will be heading back there soon.
