I often describe Alaska as sensory overload and the 90 minute flightseeing tour we took brought that expression to another level. We did the Grand Tour Route 1 (described in their brochure) and with the clear day day we were blessed with, flew through the...More

Diana in the front office was very helpful when inclement weather conditions caused us to have to change our original traverse for our backcountry trip. She maintained contact with us via satelite phone while we were out in the backcountry to assure we were safe....More

The pilots are top-notch! Their skill is matched by their knowledge of the area, pointing out locations and sharing local history. The scenery is not to be missed. Also a GREAT alternative to McCarthy Road!

We recently used Wrangell Air for several trips: Anchorage to McCarthy, McCarthy to Skolai pass. The pilots and flights were all terrific. Zach, Kevin, Bill and Matt were charming, smart, serious about safety and best of all - great scenic guides. It might seem expensive,...More

If the weather is good, take the opportunity to have a flight over this stunning landscape. Strangely Mountain Air are professional and very competent so you are in safe hands. I took the 50 minute tour which covered an impressive variety of terrain.
