We had the same guide that we had for the glacier which was great as she was terrific. Very interesting 'hard hat' tour hat encapsulates the reason for the town's existence. You get a top to bottom inside look at the ingenuity and the work ethic of the mill workers in the design and function of the mill. Well worth... More

If you are in the Kennicott area, this is a must do. Informative and fun. Good for all ages and abilities. This company has keys to all the buildings with guides that know their facts.

Wonderful guide!! Logan was very knowledgeable about the area and glaciers. He allowed periods of rest breaks when needed without feeling pressured to keep going. The views were awesome of the mountains and glaciers!

What an incredible time we had on our half-day hike to Root Glacier with McKinley and Terrell. They were very friendly, competent, and fun guides for our whole family! What a gem of a place that was made even more exceptional with the great staff and wonderful hospitality! We'll definitely return! Thank you!

The trip out to Kennicott/McCarthy is an adventure in itself, but once you get there you quickly realize why people choose to be there. This is real Alaskan history! When we return to Alaska (don't know... More
