This is a gem of an apple farm. They have a great variety of apples. Our favourite is the Gold rush which ripens late in the season. Their raspberries are available in early summer and then again in the fall until the first frost. Lots of great activities for kids including the corn mazes. It is a gem just West of Brighton.

Thank you for the wonderful review and for taking the time to share your experience you had at Cricklewood Farm with others here on Trip Advisor. Gold Rush is indeed a great apple for those who like one that is tart. You are a patient person waiting for them, since it is our last apple to ripen in the last week of October. It is great to hear that your enjoy your stay with us and we look forward to your next visit!

We decided to pick apples this visit . It was too easy and the price was cheaper. Their apples are amazing. They will let you taste apples that you are interested in. We go several times during the season and get different varieties. They are all great.

We work very hard trying to make our visitor's experience a positive one and are gratified to know that you enjoyed yourselves. We still have a lot of apples that will be ripening and our pumpkins and squash are just around the corner. We look forward to your next visit!

To begin with, staff is so friendly!
We ventured into the larger corn maze and had a great time finding our way through, was a nice surprise to be given a small freezie as a 'prize' for completing the questions throughout the maze. Apple picking here is ok, prices are decent.
Love that a portion of proceeds are being donated to Wounded Warriors of Canada. Last year it was for Primrose Donkey Sanctuary in Roseneath.
We will absolutely return :)

We came here for the apples, and ended up doing the maze as well - what a fun way to spend some time on a sunny afternoon. $$ raised from the maze admission went to Primrose Donkey Sanctuary, can't wait to see who they are supporting this year!

Cricklewood wood is clean, welcoming, & offer plenty to do do as well as pick. We pick both early & fall raspberries there each year as well as apples on a weekly basis once ripe. The corn maze is always an adventure & the cost of it is worthwhile as proceeds always go to a local charity. Beth & Brent really contribute to their community that way & put in tremendous hours & money in to ensuring the maze is a success each year.
Their staff are always helpful & happy with many returning students each year which tells me they are well treated.
Our family has decided to make Cricklewood our new Halloween pumpkin picking farm as well after having picked at a different farm for over 10 years. It’s just a great farm with the perfect atmosphere giving us even better family time & traditions to look forward to each season

The corn maize is a family tradition every Fall. It's a little pricey but the money always goes to a good, charitable cause. Wear comfortable shoes. Pack an umbrella and lots of patience. The corn maze is huge. Give it 1-2 hours--or more. Kids are given scavenger hunt guides (questions and puzzles).

The maze just opened and this year theme is about donkey. Went there with another young family and 4 boys vs parents to complete the maze, which should be done around 1.5 hrs. $25/family (2 adults + 3 kids). The kids have an activity booklet to complete along the way and our kids (age 9 to 12) did a great job and did better than the parents who cheated by taking the photo of the maze before entering it. My point is, the kids, with no help but merely by the guide of the book and the info along the way, they can finish the maze without problem. I'd talked to Beth, she said she designed the maze and set up all questions/fun facts with her employee and posted them along the maze. We learnt so much about donkeys! Looking at the picture of their past mazes pattern, we were very amazed by their work and passion. When finished you get a small freezie and the kids will get a small prize. There's a nice picnic area with hay and little playground. Good for family and couples who like nature. Very clearn farm and neat apple tress are next to the maze.

We go every year with the 2 kids to pick apples, always a good time, doesn't take long to get a big bunch of apples, so don't go thinking it will kill a few hours, lol. Other than that it's a great place, staff are always friendly and helpfull.

We've been coming to Cricklewood for years and we recommend it to anyone and everyone!! We love to come and pick the many varieties of apples, get some fresh cider and check out the other produce while we're at it. Beth and Brent have made this a destination for us for many years and we'll continue visiting in the years to come!
