I love this place. Unfortunately due to the incredible amount of rain this summer the beach is not in good shape and the campground stayed wet our entire visit even thought it didn't rain while we were there. I'm sure next year will be much...More

Camped at this park during the August long weekend at the group campsite 505. Stayed two nights with a group of about 30 people. The comfort station was a bit far and requires a 10 minute drive. The vault toilets were not available so they...More

The weather was partly cloudy. There was a strong breeze off the lake. The air was warm. Because of the high water in the lake, the beach was wet, so bring something to sit on.

We went there with another young family this past Civic Holiday Weekend for 4 days. I've read the reviews before going so sorta prepared that some places were still closed due to flood/heavy rain the past couple of months. The place is very well kept, staff...More

We went as a "family experience", with all the kids and their families getting together for an annual attempt to share and be close, especially for the cousins. We had booked in February (though the preferred place was Sandbanks - but always full)! Mother Nature...More

At last a provincial park that does not disappoint! We came as day visitors. Checked out the nature centre, the light house and info building close to there. So nice to learn about local wildlife and history. Huge park, lot's of walking trails, a couple...More

Went here with extended family and everyone enjoyed. The kids programs were fantastic and really engaging (we we're there with kids 2-6). The sites were well-forested and somewhat private, medium-sized. The beaches and many trails were closed due to flooding but seemed like they would...More

We camp at a minimum of 4 different provincial parks every summer and I've only ever had good things to say about them. Arrowhead, Bon echo, Silent Lake, Awenda to name a few and they are kept in such good shape. This past Canada Day...More

Nice area to bike around. Beach has small pebbles but good for swimming. Some shoreline lost this year with the high water. Quiet road and neat lighthouse.

There are decent beaches. I would call the park office as they had trouble with flooding this Spring and I had heard they closed the park for a short time but unsure if they had reopened it. We also travelled to the... More

The park is closed right now due to flooding. The boardwalk is underwater and many sites are flooded. Not sure when the park will reopen or how the sites will be affected.
