My friends and I were staying in a cottage nearby and thought to venture out to this park. It’s cost us $21 per vehicle to gain a one day pass. There are many different parts of the park you can go to. There are beaches, the lighthouse, the marsh boardwalk and countless trails!! There are washrooms in the building at the front of the park and then there are many outhouses throughout the park. This place was great for a day trip.

We visited the Presq'ile Park last week. It has loads of trails and lots of places to take a picnic. Well recommended.

We went on a long walk through the woods but got so bitten by the local bug population that we decided to cut that part of our walk short. Pity, because it was a lovely location. We stuck to the made up roads after that and there were plenty of people enjoying the park either on foot or bicycle.

We were most impressed with the extensive boardwalk along the marshes at the N end of the Presq'ile. It took us right out into the reed beds and marsh area. There were a couple of elevated platforms or wildlife observation and it would have been nice to spend some more time there.

Unfortunately, this part of our visit was approaching the time that we needed to check in to our accommodation so we had to go at a fair pace along the 1.2km loop.

It would be nice to return sometime. Who knows if this will be possible? Hope it will.

As a tip: Apply liberal coatings of bug repellent. They are not fussy about who they attack.

We biked for the day in this beautiful park with great views of Lake Ontario. The park is full of wonderful trails to walk and bike in thru the forest or along the lake. Plenty of wildlife as well and very quiet and peaceful. We saw numerous deer. Make sure you also visit the lighthouse at the end point worth the trip.

This provincial park is a pleasant day trip destination. I very much enjoyed the Marsh Boardwalk Trail, Beautiful Lighthouse, Informational panels on the HMS Schooner called Speedy, plus the beautiful vista of Lake Ontario and the crashing waves. Much beauty in our own backyard. Highly recommend.

This was our last stop of our camping road trip and our 1st time at Presqu'ile.
July 28-30th
The 1st booth we came to was more of a "give you direction on where to go". The next stop was the Park Office check in which was done quickly. Purchased a bag of wood and pick up was right outside. Wood was ok, not great.

What they don't tell you at the 1st booth is that if you need to fill with water the station is BEFORE you get to the checkin office. It is located on the left side right across from the Owen Point Trail entrance. So fill before checking in or you will have to go back to do it.

Our site was #58 in the High Bluff campground area. Situated across the road from the lake and close to a water entry. It was actually perfect as the wind was blocked coming across the lake by site #59's trailer. It was a level dry site and quite large!
Not a lot of privacy though.

Great Park for walking and riding...very large! Roads were in good condition for the most part.
Rode our bikes to check out the Lighthouse and read the history information regarding the ships that have sunk off the coast.

If you are a bird watcher this is the Park for you! It was a busy full park when we were there. Lots of kids on bikes. The beach area by the camping is rocky for entry but some areas quite sandy further out. Waves can get quite wild. There are 2 beach areas with designated swimming areas that are easily driven or biked to.

We had one rainy day so we spent some time in Brighton and discovered a few interesting shops.

Beautiful place, the view of Lake Ontario is superb, especially for those who have land on the lake! Our land: #82. not very nice, we have to connect to the neighbor's house, 100 feet away!! The electrical connections are very poorly made. After the rains, we had flooded land, it was impossible to make a fire.
Proximity with neighbors, they were very noisy, did not respect the rules. Book early if you want one of the large lots by the lake...otherwise many were very muddy!

Camped at Presqu’ile for 2 nights this past weekend and absolutely loved it, it was my first time visiting and I think it’s a hidden gem that’s under valued compared to sandbanks park.

Sure, the campground we were camping at had less privacy and the campsites were small but that didn’t bother us too much or take away from the experience tbh (we stayed at Elmvale campground and the website says that the sites can accomodate 6 people/3 camps but we thought the sites were too small for that. Would suggest max 4 people/one car on each campsite). The comfort stations aren’t part of Elmvale campground but are walking distance which was nice. There are also water taps all around which was very helpful!

The park is beautiful and the camping experience was wonderful, the beaches here are less busy compared Sandbanks but the beaches are equally beautiful and has nice walkable hikes. Would definitely camp here again in the future.

This park on the north shore of Lake Ontario is a great little secret. It has fantastic beaches, great trails and abundant animal life. It is rare to visit and not seen deer, wild turkeys and a great variety of migrant birds.

Located on the shores of Lake Ontario, just south of Brighton, there are many ways to get there. I suggest using the 401 exit at Brighton, you can get off at the Big Apple exit, it's scenic, but much longer.

While the beach isn't as big as the nearby Sand Banks it is much quieter! The sand is great for making sand castles, and the water is super shallow, which is great for small kids!

Also in the park is the light house, it is worth the drive!

Lastly there aren't many Pokemon stops in the park. The light house has a bunch, I want to say four or five pokestops and one gym.
