Our shoppe, located in our 1850's Century Home at 85 Main Street, offers customers an eclectic array of Home Decor, Gourmet Foods, Fusion Mineral Paint, Fashion & Apparel, Custom Painted "One of a Kind" Furnishings, and many more intriguing items. Interested in learning a few tricks of the trade? Special Effects Decorating also offers Fusion Mineral Paint Workshops, where clients learn to complete projects such as giving their kitchen cabinets a fresh new look, to creating their own unique piece for their home, such as a Farmhouse Style Clock or Lazy Susan.

As soon a you walk in you feel welcome
I love all that is offered from their boutique , local food options to decorating option with good knowledge of all their product

This boutique has so many different things....could spend hours upon hours just looking at it all! Really nice decorative pieces to use throughout your home, gift ideas, etc. They will even do custom work for you.....beautiful! Highly recommend going there to check it all out!

Brighton has become a destination, and Sheryl and Jay at Special Effects have a plethora of items to suit your every need. It’s my go-to place for stone, flooring, gourmet items, and much more. I just finished the stone on my fireplace and bought beautiful area rugs. Couldn’t recommend them more. They design, supply, and install if that’s what you want.

This store is so cute!! Lots of things to look at! I could have spent hours here just browsing. They really care about buying Canadian made. I can't wait to go back and see what new items she brings in for Christmas!

This store in Brighton, Ontario is a must for that one of a kind shopping. The staff are super friendly and easy to talk to. The owner is an interior decorator so has an excellent eye. There is a great mixture of pieces for your home to make it extra special. Forget the big box stuff and visit this store for unique and hand crafted items. There is some thing for everyone and makes it a delight to explore. If you are looking for a gift for yourself or someone else make this your destination. They also have on site consultation for all your decorating needs. Don't miss this one!!
