The road to this beach is in a deplorable state of disrepair. Such a shame as you worry what damage is being done to your vehicle. Lots of money has obviously been spent on the massive car parks and lovely boardwalks. Surely money could be...More

No words can make justice to this pristine beach. No restaurants or bathrooms and that’s just fine. Bring a picnic and leave only footprints.

Went in August, but changed to the river side beach due to rocky beach entrance & dirty water bringing all type of sea weeds on the beach. Got to be wearing shoes when entering the water due to the rocks.

This is one of many beautiful beaches along this stretch of the Alentejo coastline. Access and parking have been much improved over the last two years, although it can only be reached by a track. Walkways and observation points and platforms have been added and...More

This beach is great but it has very bad access by car! The road cannot be done properly because the beach is on a protected area! Anyway, the beach is great and has a lot of parking places!

The water is cold. If not that it will be the perfect place. Nice sand and a very calm place to relax.

Praia do Malhão is a very beautiful beach with rocks, cliffs and waves. There are as well paths on the top of the cliffs with breathtaking views.

This beach is really awesome. Spacious and with relative few people. Suspect it is more crowded in August, though. Nice panorama from above when you arrive.

If you walk north you'll find the nude beach (in the second cove). It's very peaceful and relaxing. The only downside is the dirt track getting to the beach as it's bumpy on your car.
