You have separate cottages and a main reception area where the only Wi-Fi is available. When you come over to ask, I do not expect Wi-Fi to be present at all times you must roll with the punches. This lodge is so beautiful and the grounds are really nice. They do have a lovely pool. And this is one of the best showers. We have experienced on the Safari. The food is amazing. And if you want a cup of tea, they’ll just go and get you a cup of tea. I highly recommend this safari lodge.

No one is allowed to contaminate the basics of the awesome cultural heritage that these mighty people of mighty tribe has run for thousands of years. An eye opener.

We told our children to remember the day we spent with the Hadzabe tribe near Lake Eyasi - I can't imagine we will never see anything like this again! There are less than 1,500 people remaining in this tribe, and it's unlikely they will remain when my children are grown. My 9 year old son got to hunt with the young men, and they killed doves with bows and arrows, and started a fire to roast the birds and eat them. For a young boy, this was the adventure of a lifetime! My daughters danced and sang with the women, and played with the babies. I was amazed at the faith of the Hadzabe, who live the way their ancestors lived for thousands of years. They have faith that the land will provide food each day, so they have no need for food storage. Our safari guide arranged for a local guide, named Michael, to go with us, as he had stayed with the tribe for several months and knew some of the isolated click language. His explanations of the Hadzabe way of life really added to the experience. The bushmen were so kind to my children and enthusiastic about sharing their culture with us. I left admiring them for their faith and for keeping their traditions alive, and a little jealous that they were able to spend so many hours hunting and gathering with their children. All in all, an unforgettable experience that we may never have again!

Visiting and learning about the Hadza was an eye opener and I loved it. Talk about being abel to fully immerse yourself in their daily routine...and join them for something to eat...and sing and dance with them...and go on a hunt with them. Incredible experience and one I will forever treasure.

Everytime I visit the Hadza, it´s amazing. I learnd a lot of things from them for my normal life. Things like "take it easy" or that you don´t need much for a happy life. Be a family, a community, a tribe. These people are one of the latest who lifes like that, I hope they can do it for ever.

It was a fascinating afternoon spent visiting the Hadzabe people. Their approach to life is worth emulating, so simple but altruistic. There is so much humanity can learn from these proud people.

The Hadzabe tribe, less than 1,200-1,300 left, live in the Lake Eyasi area. Camps are crude and they move frequently for game. We visited one camp with about 20 people living there and walked with the young hunters as they took their bows and arrows out to find birds, fruits and berries. Spending half a day with the tribe was quite an experience. They showed us how they start fires using a pointed wooden stick, a knife, some wood and grass. Hubby and I tried it and we both failed. Then we tried to shoot a bow and arrow and again, we weren’t able to match their skill. I couldn’t’ even draw the bow back. Also in the area is the Dagota tribe whose people are blacksmiths working with metals from recycled car parts. We watched as they used primitive methods to make metal objects including stoking the charcoal fire with bellows made from cow skin. They make the arrow points and trade with the Hadzabe. I purchased a leather bracelet decorated with aluminum and brass. It is one of a kind. If you have the chance to experience it-do it.
