A must to witness in case you are in Chennai. cool serene green through lanes naturally formed by mangroves. Don't miss the birds, reptile & marine life!

Pichavaram is just a mangrove forest .. more than boating you must try and go into the deep canals so you can see some good birds and smaller animals and snakes etc. You can also ask the boat men to help you do some fishing... More

Hi actually u can stay in chidambaram or Pondicherry for see around pichavaram you can finish it within 3hrs so u can be there around 2pm so that u can finish around 5pm so that u can see other places near chidambaram during... More

I would suggest booking a taxi. The place is not easily accessible and I don't think there are any buses that ply to the exact place where the mangroves are. Also, there is no advance booking option for the boat ride. You... More
