One of the ways to reach the island by ferry is via Sriratcha. Look for or google map “Robinsons” and it is on highway 3, coming from Pattaya it is the Soi directly after so before if you are coming from Bangkok, same side as “Robinsons” and I believe it is Soi 3. No parking on the pier and an... More

I visited two times this island....this islands can be pretty good. a two-hour boat ride from the city, making it one of the Bangkok's closest beach destinations. It is popular with Bangkok residents who head here for weekend breaks, and even day trips.

If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the Thai capital for a couple of days, but don't want to travel too far, Koh Sichang is a good choice. Close to Bangkok, not many foreigners (most tourists are Thai) and nice to spend a couple of days for some sea food and fresh sea air.

Sorry to be pedantic, but the first thing to do is correct the title of this entry. "Ko" or "Koh" in Thai means "island", so saying Ko Si Chang Island is a tautology. Unlike many other islands in the Gulf of Thailand, Ko Si Chang has not been overdeveloped and when you step off the ferry at Ko Si Chang... More

I would only recommend a day trip for this island. There really isn't much to do, so you can cover the whole island in a day and head back. The beaches are less crowded and nicer than Pattaya or Bang Saen, and there are no people constantly coming up to trying to sell you things. There is one spot where... More

The island is small, not much to do. The scenery is quite ok. Food is good and cheap. Avoid raining season to go here. Better rent a bike to go around island. It costs 300 baht for 2 days use, include fuels.

I've heard mixed reviewd about this lovely island. If you want a party then there's really no point in going. Most of the island is shut at 10pm. If you want peace and quite a couple of hours from Bangkok, then this is great. A short ferry (40 baht) from SriRacha pier. The beach isnt very big and so dont... More

Nothing to do or see and only has one beach. No decent hotels so avoid them especially the sichang palace. Palace it is not, be warned.

We just arrived here yesterday . A little island which is kind of little village but pretty dirty and nothing to do. Everything is over priced as that's normal in any island you go in Thailand but here was bit over than other islands. Hotel / resort we stayed called Rab Tawan and the room was normal size and the...
