A spectacular falls into a short salmon spawning area and a beach on the west side of Kootenay Lake. No cost to park or go to the falls or beach.

We stopped here on the way to Kaslo and it was a nice diversion. Nothing eye popping, but peaceful and interesting. The water in the lake is VERY warm, so young kids may like the chance to take a dip in the lake.

It's one of the main places we hit when we have company come visit. There's some warm swimming and picnic areas as well as the beauty of the falls to take in.

Really nice place to stop along the highway. The falls were beautiful and a great place to cool off on a hot day. Short walk to a picnic ground on a rocky beach along the lake. Don't be fooled by the sign warning about steep...More

Short hike off the road to these lovely falls, so clean and well kept. We could learn a lot from Canada! A few families on the lovely beach, but very unspoilt.

Wow! We read about this hike on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a try. The signage off the highway is very small and hidden behind a bush . Best to ask a local how to get here or you'll miss it quite easily ....More

Beautiful frozen falls, and great hike for the family Christmas Day. Beautiful views and will have to go back and visit in the spring/summer season.

Kaslo offers a series of beautiful hikes that are easy to access from town, making it one of our primary camping-trip destinations in the Fall. Fletcher Falls is an example of the numerous local trails that make the town such a find.

Fletcher Falls is so beautiful, it's an easy hike to the waterfall, probably takes 5 min. You also have an opportunity to get really close to the waterfall, and it's kinda surreal! The best part of this waterfall is that it's not that popular, so...More
