Located in a beautiful small town Amherstburg in downtown by the water is this interesting place with some history of early Canada. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. It is a small historic site but worth a visit.

Small, but interesting Fort with a history. Staff in period dress were friendly and knowledgeable. Excellent musket demonstration. Enjoyed the soldier's lunch for $4.90! Excellent stew. Museum displays are informative.

Enjoyed the afternoon at Fort Malden no charge this year to tour the fort. They are dog friendly so Lucia enjoyed the day there also. The musket demonstration was definitely worth the time to watch. Very nice way to spend a few hours and take...More

Staff in the visitors centre and museum as well as the 'soldiers' were all very friendly and eager to answer questions. Saw the muskat demostration and the cook making beef stew. Smelled great. Property is well maintained. Pleasant stroll through the grounds along the river....More
