Fort Malden National Historic Site is located along the Detroit shoreline. The site is well maintained and provides for a very interesting way to spend an afternoon.

Small, but interesting Fort with a history. Staff in period dress were friendly and knowledgeable. Excellent musket demonstration. Enjoyed the soldier's lunch for $4.90! Excellent stew. Museum displays are informative.
