We went there our first time to give our new RV a shakedown. Being a long weekend we expected the typical rowdy campground. It was actually peaceful, the sites are spread out enough for privacy. Great access to the river, washrooms and showers were clean. Overall its a great park.

This park is only good to go swimming in the day..and late summer as pool is freezing...as far as camping well think again theft is very bad here. .local people on assistance live here for the summer..I am local and speak the truth..I questioned young men following girls and waiting for them outside the washroom to follow them back to... When we went here we made friends with our camp neighbours immediately. They came over and hung out with us and then eventually they went back to their site and we went to bed. We had a bunch of kids with us. Our neighbours ended up being up all night and making all kinds of noise so I went over... More

I had a trailer on the island for many years. It is just like being way up north on the island. It is not serviced. On the mainland there is service. You can camp the whole season if you want or a few days or more. There is an acre swimming pool and areas for children to play.

I'm going to start off by saying I'm sure there are a number upstanding seasonal residents, however we did not encounter them during our stay. I visited Byng Trailer Park with a group of youth in early September 2016. The park has a lot of promise, helpful staff, clean facilities and a lot to do. After the youth were settled... More

This park only has two small trails. The attraction seems to be the big pool and the seasonal camp sites. It's a friendly place.

Family orientated campgrounds with opportunities to canoe, fish, and swim. I was impressed by the size of the outdoor pool. The diving board was definitely the highlight. A bit disappointed by the lack of hiking areas, but good for a "tame" camping or day use trip.

I recently visited byng Park with my granddaughters to spend a day at the swimming pool. We live close by so we were looking forward to an afternoon of swimming. As I haven't been to the park for a few years I was extremely disappointed in the condition of the pool and the change rooms and the washrooms. The bottom... More

I have to say the park is well kept, the bathrooms are cleaned multiple times a day and lots of wild life around. We saw two deer im the middle of the road, two wild turkeys in the bush, and every morning a chipmunk would visit our site. The pool is huge, which made it seem less crowded, and back... More

We suggested to my brother-in-law to take the kids out for a fun day. A picnic with family and then we headed for a great swim in the huge pool. I forgot how much fun we had going there with my kids when they were young, it was awesome. We enjoyed a wonderful picnic and had a fantastic swim, it... More
