Easily accessible via the parking lot, Gullfoss is a must see for all Iceland goers. The waterfall is a beast which will help you truly appreciate the true power of Icelands landscapes.

IG: LLTRAVELMEL Park at the lower parking lot (not clearly marked, just drive where you think the lower parking are would be lol), your walk will be shorter!! However, if you need to go to the bathroom or get something to eat, then you'll want...More

These falls are spectacular. Definitely a must-see when visiting Iceland. You can walk around to the bottom or hike up to get the view from the top. The walk is very mild.

Stopped here with my family while on a tour around Iceland. We rented a car and did our own tour on our own time which we prefer. This was a nice stop, windy during the day we stopped but impressive to see natures abilities. If...More

Gullfoss waterfall can be viewed at two levels and is an impressive display of nature's force and even produced a beautiful rainbow for us. Definately worth of visit.

Very impressive falls. Several options for viewing - if you can take the steps down and walk along to the rock outcrop for the best views, but be aware that going back is harder than going!

A double cascade dropping 30metres and exiting via a deep ravine. A fairly energetic walk down wooden boarding, partly in spray as you get closer. You may be lucky to see rainbows. The forces of nature are awesome, making their mark over millennium. The usual...More

Friends who live in Iceland took us here, the sheer noise and volume of water descending is amazing. Good shop and restaurant on site and a nice walk to the falls made this a highly enjoyable visit

The falls are quite spectacular. Unfortunately the site is full of tourists and you actually need to queue to see something. This honestly ruins the experience.

We were on the Golden Circle EXPRESS tour which gave us 45 minutes there in very extreme weather. If the weather had been clear, we'd have wanted longer (not least to walk down the route that was closed on the day we were... More
