A compact museum with original engines and carriages showcasing Finnish history. Nicely structures tours and allowance to take photographs, makes it a must visit when in Hyvinkää.

Nicely set large collection of well-preserved locomotives and wagons, including the imperial train of Russian Emperor. Would have been nice to be allowed to enter some of them. My daughter who typically complains about visiting museums was difficult to get out from this one.

Finnish Railway Museum is nice place with many real old trains. There is lot of information and interesting facts about the history of railway in Finland. I recommend it for families, couples or individuals.
