I took two companions out for dinner, a special occasion and my first time at this establishment. One of my companions ordered an appetizer. After waiting for way too long, the appetizer arrived with our dinner orders. My dinner, a Reuben sandwich, was less than hot. I cannot imagine how my companion's Reuben tasted after she had to eat her... More

Our granda was celebrating her 90th. She always looks forward to going out. Due to a good previous experience we booked here for her birthday. I was warmly greeted when I arrived. We had told them we needed room for a wheelchair. Ramp was out on way in and chair was removed at table to accommodate even though she was... More

You will see everything that floats pass through this lock. Personal watercraft to huge yachts. The funniest is when several newbie houseboat drivers try to pass through. Have you ever seen one stuck sideways? Pretty funny but not for the expensive yacht owners. There is a swing bridge at one end that really messes up car traffic, so Bobcaygeon can... More

Watch as boats of all shapes and sizes enter the lock system to go either up or down stream. A historic lock system to be seen by all.

Really enjoyed the lock, lots of shade to sit and watch boats go through for a while. Got to see a big ship go through that nearly took up the whole space in the lock. Kids really enjoyed it and staff was really great about answering our questions.

We spent an entire week in Bobcaygeon. During this time, we were at the lock several times; on foot, by car, and on our boat as we toured through. The lock is very easy to negotiate by water. Its neat, and goes up and down quickly. Every Thursday night in the summer, there is a concert, we sat and enjoyed... More

Lock staff is superb and so helpful. Facilities are new and pristine! So many shops and restaurants a stone's throw away. We moored in a treed area off the concrete - private, cool and lovely!
