After being the whole day in a tour (in a bus and walking), spending some time in thermal waters is a nice experience. It wasn't really crowded, and the people there were both Peruvian and tourists.
It was a great relax

Our driver suggested we stop here for a quick swim, and it was a great idea. We stayed for a couple of hours enjoying the various pools and also enjoyed seeing the hummingbirds zooming past us in the pool. Worth a stop!

We were so happy to have been offered a opportunity to go to the mineral springs. After long bus days it felt great.

Maybe in some other circumstances I would not be so enthusiastic (for all my addiction to thermal waters). The showers weren’t in good order, I’ve got quite cold while changing and putting my things to the locker. But the pool was clean, the water was heavenly and there weren’t many people there, only several not counting our group. Finally, there is a pool bar where they make absolutely yummy hot chocolate (real! Not from a packet). All the mountain cold went out of my bones after the procedure. And it is inexpensive!

A quick visit of the museum impressive! Friendly staff at the thermal waters and beautiful views during our walk at the site.

Usual kind of swimming pool, quite sulphurous, very hot- most of the time only managed to be half in half out!
Changing rooms basic and showers also seemed sulphury..
Fairly enclosed so not making the most of the views but ok for a relaxing hour

After a long day of travelling along steep cliffs through the most important volcanoes, a thermal springs bath is just what your body needs. On the first level is a swimming pool filled with volcano heated waters, chock full of nutrient rich minerals. If you have strong knees, you can go down a series of steps to another level where there is a spa, a pool, with the same sourced water at body temperature. The mountain views are beautiful. The first poll is protected so if it rains, you can still enjoy the baths and. Jews. Very inexpensive, lockers, showers and changing rooms are included in the entrance fee. Safe, but wearing something on your feet around the pool is advised as it is slippery. Snacks can be bought on site as well as drinks. Close to Chivay, and Coporaque.

Just a short drive from Chivay, these lovely thermal springs are set in a scenic mountain setting. The complex is made up of five hot spring pool that are fed from the brooks of the Colca Canyon. The water really was amazingly warm at roughly 86 degrees and we could of quiet happily of stayed in for hours. However, having just got in and started relaxing it started to rain, not just normal rain but torrential rain that stings when it hits your skin. So that rather called a halt to our restorative afternoon. Wooden huts are close by to enable you to get changed and dry but there wasn't anywhere to leave our belongings other than on a few chairs that were available. Well worth the experience but don't expect too much as the facilities are limited.
