We were aware of the entry cost, but disappointed with the exhibitions etc, they were decidedly underwhelming for the price... a weird light cave, weird film with no explanations and they must have scraped around for the other exhibits... The gift shop was extensive but,...More

It should be actually mandatory for every one at least once in a lifetime to visit this place and experience "the end of the world". There is no better place to contemplate on insignificance of material life style than this place at the edge of...More

We were on a tour in the winter, and while it was cold and windy, with snow , it was a lot less extreme than I expected for the location. Good information available, good food, and a great shop for souvenirs. A place you will...More

I guess it's the sort of price you're only willing to pay because you've travelled the entire way up there. The visitor centre and the souvernir shops are quite nice and the small bistro serves lovely waffles. It's no more and no less though. If...More

An interesting drive through the snow from Honningsvag to the visitors information centre at North Cape. Enjoyed the film and the work of local artists - also the welcome hot drinks.

We visited Nordkapp as part of a tour through Hurtigruten. It was very interesting travelling through the landscape to get up to this most northernwestern point in Europe. It was a beautiful sunrise although very windy. We had a nice breakfast buffet in the restaurant...More

Access to North Cape is very expensive! But you don't get much for it. A big building but very little information. A 15 minute film with just pretty buildings. Some short displays of earlier explorers and tourists. Then a big artificial cave with a totally...More

Did you just take a local bus? Which boat ride were you referring to? Thanks. J.

I went with a tour, but I'm sure the local hotels and hostels can tell you which buses go there and what time they come back. I didn't do a boat ride.

Hi Pauls P, I visited Nordkapphallen when travelling with Hurtigruten on a Coastal Voyage, and have a voyage booked for late September this year too. The Shipping Company, Hurtigruten offer a guided coach trip to Nordkapp... More

On June 24 when Prinsedam docks in Honningsvag 8-5, what is the local bus schedule to the viewpoint/hall and return and cost with entry? Do we pay for the bus in NOK or can we use $? Do we get the bus at the cruise pier? Is there a link or email address for reserving a local taxi to the viewpoint/hall?

Sorry Artnuvo, I do not know. I visited this location via the Cruise Line Hurtigruten, who offered an excursion ( side trip) organised by them, direct off the quay side. We had a six bus convoy just from MS Polarlys alone... More
