Achieving solo flight on hydroplane was on my bucket list. Now it is done

Wwhether you are a fan of aviation and you want to get hydroplane experience in a safe and joyful manner or you want to travel to one of the most beautiful but remote place in the region up north from Quebec down to Montreal, this exactly the place you want to go and the people you must meet for sure. I had on my bucket list another dream of mine. The one to fly and possibly make it up to the solo flight on hydroplane: Thanks to Alain Priem, Laure, Sebastien and the wonderful team working all in a very professional and friendly environment I put another tick in the bix today. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of you. Unforgettable experience😊👍🏻🍁

amazing flight with a 65 year old Beaver Hydroplane

Booked the flight in advance. Arrived when raining so we were afraid that all would be cancelled. Still they owners did all they could. Flight was postponed for a few hours but we went up ! Had a marvelous experience.

Absolutely wonderful experience

We took one of their packages - Flight & lakeside picnic.
We took off at 11.00 and headed North West up the St Maurice river towards Shawinigan. The view from about 4,000 feet is superb with good visibility.
A full 30 minutes took us to Lac au Sorcier where we landed.
Our pilot moored up at the edge of the lake which was a small sandy strip. He then showed us to a “hidden” trestle table where he provided us with our substantial picnic lunch.
We were then left for the next couple of hours or so to enjoy the tranquility, eat our picnic and swim in the lake.
The return leg to their Hydrabase took a further 30 minutes, returning us more or less on the advertised 3 hour mark.
If you have not done something like this before and it sits within your budget, GO FOR IT.
Very professional setup and a great experience.

Wonderful experience

My wife and I took the 75 minute excursion. The day was perfect for a flight which provided us insight into the immensity of the wilderness just a short distance north of more densely settled areas. Aerial views of lakes and hills were spectacular. The staff was both highly professional and highly personable. Location is a short distance off the beaten path but well worth the trip. Highly recommended!

Perfect flight

We dropped by totally unannounced and asked if they had a flight available. We were lucky and got one right away, we booked the 75 min tour with an additional landing. It was an awesome experience, our pilot was super nice as was the entire team, he explained a lot and the view was just breathtaking.

Cut short our 2 trips

we were 2 couples who took 1 hre excursions each and they were both sorter than promised. The fly over our house was nice but cost us $100 for 8 minutes of detour and we never went over St Sauveur as promised. The pilot is nice and informative however.

You certainly didn't fly with us! we are located near Trois-Rivières and fly over Mauricie national parc and beautiful lakes of Mauricie area; All our flights and their duration are clearly described on our website; Be advised that St Sauveur, as you mentioned, is located in the Laurentides area. Désolé mais ce n'est pas notre compagnie qui opère dans les Laurentides, semble-t-il puisque vous mentionnez St Sauveur; Nous sommes prés de Trois-Rivières en Mauricie; Nos forfaits sont par ailleurs clairement définis, avec leur prix taxes incluses et leur durée, (temps dans les airs, temps d'embarquement etc.)

Excellent weekend

We took a "flight and conoeing" package with my wife and our 10 years old son. After having joined the base, we got a briefing and embarked on a legendary Beaver for a 40 minutes flight over Quebec and the Mauricie. We then landed on Lake Soucis and joined a beach where we had to settle our camp (Notice, I used the satellite phone to get advice for the tent). Canoeing on the lake during the afternoon and then spent the whole evening around a fire. Pickup the day after and flight back. We did not see any wild animals (that said, it is perhaps better like this) and spent a great time in family. The package allows for a nice air discovery of the Canadian wildness and a nice family or friendship period. Great adventure. The pilot (Xavier) was very friendly.

Awsome place to discover Quebecs wonderful scenery!!!!

Maybe one of the best places to do your seaplane rating. Located right in the middle between Montreal and Quebec City. Also without having claims to become a pilot, it is worth asking one of the guys to take you on sightseeing trip, or to fly you to a nice lodge for a couple of nights.

Very friendly and highly qualified staff.
