This was an extremely enjoyable outing for us as a family. We enjoyed everything from the beautiful walkways at the information centre to the wonderful site itself. As a family traveling with two children aged 9 and 10, this site was interesting enough to keep...More

Newgrange is a wonderful example of Ireland's ancient past. I visited as part of a small group bus tour from Dublin. I arrived before the visitor center opened. I had about 45 minutes to walk through the detailed exhibit of the indigenous people who built...More

It is a bit confusing but you can only come here thru the visitor centre by bus as they do not sell tickets on site. The tomb was the subject of serious research in the 60s to mid 70s and they found it to be...More

We had a very informative and exciting day at New Grange - we enjoyed going into the structure and learning about the culture. The countryside is beautiful and the tour guides were superb

This is a must see, they’ve done quite well on the tour with the information we actually have on Newgrange. You’re left to wander a bit when the tour is split and there’s some really great countryside to take in around it. Dress warm and...More

We went out of season (if there is such a thing at this place) and had a brilliant lunch served by friendly staff. Loads of food, didn't need to eat dinner later on, and felt it was good value for what we had (the aubergine...More

Arrived at the site 30 mins early for a 1015 tour or so I thought. It’s 1015 checkin and tour at 1115😡. So that was my bad for not reading the website properly. However they had availability on the 1015 tour and refused to move...More

We visited the burial grounds on a bright but cold winters day. The tour guide was great, very informative and funny, the areas are an amazing piece of history well worth a visit!

The Neolithic passage tomb at Newgrange is the most visited archaeological site in Ireland. Over 5000 years old it pre-dates the first phase of Stonehenge by 1000 years and the Egyptian pyramids by 400 years.

I booked online with them, definitely worth it. It is small inside but very interesting to see.
