Thetford Forest is a lovely place to visit and the facilities at High Lodge make it a good "hub" from which to explore - but parking is pretty expensive

Really enjoyed the bike trails and didn’t mind paying £20 each to hire bikes for 3 hours. However the £9.50 parking charge at the end of the day was a nasty surprise, way too expensive.

Yes. there is a fee for parking but you can walk in but not sure where you would park.
