Set in a valley with some fantastic scenery. A very well set up and well looked after golf course with some great challenging holes and some very tricky greens. It's fairly flat so not too tough to walk round. The pro shop was well stocked and they were very welcoming as were the staff in the bar area. The food was really nice too, very tasty. Would recommend Chapel to anyone.

This very friendly golf club is st in the Derbyshire hill, next to a reservoir. Some very interesting holes to play, scenic views of the Derbyshire hills and a lovely clubhouse to relax in later.

This course is a 15 minute drive from Buxton and is set amongst the beautiful Derbyshire Peaks alongside a large lake. So despite the area it’s set in it’s a relatively flat course. The front 9 are some way from the clubhouse so allow time to get to the first tee which is across the road. Putting the ball in position is important on a number of the holes. The greens were a bit slow but with the massive slopes on them that might have been a blessing. You cross the road again to get to the tenth tee (beware it’s a busy road ). The tenth is an intimidating tee shot and the last 3 holes are really tough. If you’re playing 36 holes I’d recommend a buggy as there’s a few good walks between holes. The pro shop is well stocked and the lady behind the desk very helpful. Lunch of soup and sandwiches had been preordered and it arrived quickly which is always good when your playing 36 holes. Attractive course in a beautiful setting.

29th April was our delayed silver celebrations this was due to bad weather in March. We arrived at 1.15 pm some guests were already there and being made most welcome, the remainder rolled up until 2.00pm. The buffet lunch was served in a wonderful manner looking absolutely beautiful and tasting even better. Some of our guests had different dietary concerns this was concern of ours, but we did not have to worry. All dietary needs were met with wonderful food that everyone really enjoyed. The surroundings were most excellent and everyone’s needs are met. We had two people with a disability a stairlift got our guests up & down the stairs. The staff were very helpful when we booked the clubhouse and very careful to meet all our needs. I cannot praise the caters and the golf club enough in making our day very special.
