Since it was a weekend when we visited, there were few passengers in the terminal going to Lake Danao. So we rented a jeep from the terminal for 1000. It was a reasonable price since it was for the ride to and from Lake Danao. But during the weekdays, you can just wait for the jeep to be full to... More

Went there with friends last May 17, 2017. Entrance fee is only 5pesos/pax, parking fee is 10pesos. Floating Cottage was 150/hr and kayak for rent 300pesos. What was surprisingly pricey was the camote and banana cost 100/kg! Place was a refreshing sight as well as the cold waters. CR is found at a hills spa location, donation of 5pesos is... More

Its 20km far from Ormoc town proper, the place is serene and the locals are friendly. Its perfect for family picnics or group of friends chillin out. Bring food and water. Grilling is also allowed. The floating kubo cottage is for 150pesos per hr while the land cottage ranges from 250-300pesos.

The place is beautiful to go if you want peace, cold wind, swim, hang with your friends, kayak or even have a date with family or love one.

No a lot to see but a big lake. Still worth the trip as there is nothing else worth seeing in Ormoc, not a Tourist destination. Catch a multi cab up and same one back. Driver will often wait an hour or so for you to look around.

The lake is really beautiful. So quiet and clean. For sure, rent a car to get there from Ormoc, it is way too far for a trike. Spend several hours there.

Hidden in the mountains of Ormoc, you find this gem of a place. We spent the afternoon here after a trip to Kalanggaman Island. The wiew over the lake and the sorrounding moutain is really breathtaking, and enjoying a meal with family and friends on one of the rafts in the lake, really made this afternoon special. If you visit... More
