You must not miss a visit to this palace, especially on a sunny day

Takes a bit of getting to, but unmissable. Beautiful rooms and park. But be prepared for the in-palace cafe to be shut.

Firstly the palace opens at 10am but only for groups until 12am . Our guide said it gets very busy , we had to wait 30 mins to get in You can't take ruck sacks or coats on the tour which are left at the entrance . So no water for the tour. When we were walking around there were... More

WOW! Outside and inside are fantastic as are the surrounding gardens and parks. This is a world top site. Go if you can. It is just under 30 km from the Winter Palace in the Village of the Tsars. During the occupation of Russia and siege of St Petersburg by the German's in WW2 considerable damage and looting occurred, viz.... More

The palace is magnificent and the park is nice too (even in winter). On the down sided, the line to get in was 1hr long and it was very slow to walk inside the palace because of the many of tours. I recommend avoiding visiting in the morning because that is when more tours arrive. When we left the palace,... More

To think that people actually lived, lived and died here. The beauty surrounding this estate is beyond words. I liked the outside gardens and out buildings as much as the main house!

This palace is a must see if you're in St. Petersburg. The opulence of the gold, marble, mirrors, and the size of the rooms is amazing. The park is also very beautiful.
